The study aimed to determine the impact of strategic intelligence on organizational performance at private universities in Sana’a, Yemen. It employed the quantitative descriptive approach and used the questionnaire to collect data from all employees with supervisory posts at the surveyed universities, totaling 328 individuals. Of these, 280 questionnaires were retrieved with a response rate of 86.7%, and all of them were valid for statistical analysis using SPSS v28. Findings indicate that strategic intelligence is prominently present across its five components, with foresight demonstrating the highest implementation levels and motivation ranking lowest. Similarly, organizational performance in effectiveness and efficiency was notably high. The analysis also revealed that strategic intelligence components substantially positively affect organizational performance, with foresight identified as the predominant contributor, followed by partnership, motivation, future vision, and then systems thinking. The study concludes that strategic intelligence substantially improves organizational performance, emphasizing foresight and collaborative partnerships as primary drivers in advancing performance and fostering success in Yemen’s higher education landscape. To strengthen outcomes, the study recommends that private universities in Sana’a prioritize structured reward systems (both monetary and non-monetary) to boost staff motivation and implement inclusive decision-making processes to align employee objectives with institutional goals. Future research is suggested to examine variables such as leadership styles, technological adoption, and student satisfaction, which may further elucidate performance dynamics in academic institutions.
