This cross-sectional study assessed nutritional status and factors associated with malnutrition among 100 hospitalized cardiovascular disease patients selected from two hospitals in Sana'a in 2017. Overweight and obesity were common, sedentary lifestyle and dyslipidemia were frequent, and several dietary and lifestyle risk factors differed by sex. The authors recommend balanced nutrition to reduce cardiovascular disease morbidity.
