| dc.description.abstract | This study examined the role of job empowerment in enhancing organizational loyalty in private universities within the Capital Municipality of Sana'a and investigated whether statistically significant differences in organizational loyalty levels could be attributed to university size and age. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical method and targeted administrative and academic staff in private universities, from whom a stratified random sample of 298 participants was selected. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The findings indicated that job empowerment was high across all its dimensions, including training and development, communication and information, motivation, delegation of authority, and work teams, while organizational loyalty levels were relatively high across their dimensions, namely normative loyalty, affective loyalty, and continuance loyalty. The results also revealed a positive effect of job empowerment on enhancing organizational loyalty across all dimensions, except for the work teams dimension, which showed no statistically significant effect. Furthermore, no statistically significant differences in organizational loyalty levels were found attributable to university size or age, suggesting similarity in loyalty levels regardless of institutional characteristics. Accordingly, the study recommends continuing to strengthen job empowerment practices as an effective strategy for enhancing organizational loyalty and enabling universities to respond to emerging challenges and optimally utilize available resources, while emphasizing the need to develop and activate work teams by improving the work environment and increasing effective participation. | en_US |
