Background: Acute appendicitis is the most common abdominal surgical emergency worldwide. Although appendectomy is generally safe, postoperative complications remain a major cause of potentially preventable morbidity, prolonged length of stay, readmissions, and excess antimicrobial use. Purpose: To determine the outcomes of postoperative complications following appendectomy among patients treated in Sana'a, Yemen, in 2025.
