In this study, three models consisting of two-stories tow-bays steel frame that were designed under gravity load only. The plan dimensions of Model (1) were 8x4m and the story height was 2m, which was modeled as the reference model. The plan dimensions of Model (2) and Model (3) were 12x10m and the stories height were 3m. But Model (2) will be circulated the biggest design section, whereas Model (3) will be design each section separately. The models were investigated numerically after the sudden removal of column in the ground floor, according to the DoD and GSA guidelines and assuming the ground floor is the most susceptible to floor that can be subjected to extreme loading due to explosions or vehicle impact. A 3D non-linear static analysis procedures recommended in the DoD and GSA guidelines. Wherefore, was used ABAQUS package, for progressive collapse analysis and tracking the failure of a building if it occurs. After the model validation, the effect of infill steel panels and bracing on enhancing the progressive collapse resisting capacity of gravity frame were evaluated. The infill steel panels and bracing were effective in reducing the progressive collapse potential of gravity frames caused by sudden removal of a column.en
