Background and Objectives: Amblyopia (lazy eye) is a neurodevelopmental visual disorder and a leading cause of preventable visual impairment worldwide. Early detection and timely intervention during childhood are crucial for optimal visual outcomes. In Yemen, data on amblyopia awareness are limited. This study aimed to assess the level of knowledge regarding amblyopia and its implications for prevention and early detection among undergraduate students at the University of Science and Technology (UST), Sana'a, Yemen, 2025.
